LOCKPORT — June M. Dittmer entered into rest August 7, 2010, after a battle with cancer. Born March 8, 1946, in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late George and Viola (Seefeldt) Hubbert.
Beloved wife of Robert Dittmer, whom she married February 3, 1968. Beloved mother of Robert Dittmer, Jr. and Frank (Debra) Dittmer. Cherished grandmother of Dustin, Brent, Jessica, Jacob and Malina Dittmer. Dear sister of Cherie Smith, Joyce (David) Frasier and Douglas Hubbert. Dear daughter-in-law of Violet and the late Frank W. Dittmer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
June was very active in Veterans organizations, including the Vietnam Veterans of America, Life member of the VFW Post 2535 Auxiliary, past President of B. Leo Dolan Post Auxiliary 410.
June was also active in cub scouting where she was a past Commissioner in the 1970’s, and had been a Sunday School teacher at the Second Presbyterian Church.
There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets. Memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family and they would like to extend a special thanks to everyone with Hospice.
