A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie S. Palisano, 61, a retired high school teacher, will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Townline Road.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Lake Road.

Mrs. Palisano, of Wilson-Burt Road, died Saturday (Aug. 5, 1989), in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Buffalo, she received a bachelor's degree from D'Youville College and a master's from Canisius College. She also attended St. Lawrence University.

She had lived in Wilson since 1951. She taught at Nardin Academy in Buffalo for a year and, from 1962 to 1969, at Wilson Central High School. She then taught at Newfane Central High School until she retired in 1978.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas P. Palisano; a son, Thomas G. of Tonawanda; two daughters, Lisa Marie Glinski of Madison, Wis., and Margaret Ann Yarmel of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Clara McNaughton of Greenwich, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
