Evelyn K. Draper, 76, of Transit Road, a retired nurse and nursing instructor, died Sunday (Oct. 18, 1998) in Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

A native of Hornell, the former Evelyn Klees had lived in Wilson. She worked as a nurse at Wilson Central School. She also was a nursing instructor at Niagara County Community College.

A graduate of St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, she earned a master's degree in nursing education at the University of Buffalo. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Wilson. Her husband, Robert, died in 1989. Survivors include two sisters, Marguerite Dwight of Rochester and Josephine Marks. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rutland- Corwin Funeral Home, 2670 Main St. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wilson.
